The Ritz-Carlton, Astana offers a venue for weddings that follow the flow of tradition and those where it is simply the undercurrent of the celebration; this reflects the balance within the Kazakhstan capital itself. The centerpiece of the hotel’s venues is the Grand Ballroom, a magnificent venue with more than 3300 sq. ft. Beneath its crystal chandeliers and soft, sophisticated design, the ballroom can host a ceremony with 800 guests or a dinner banquet for 500. Its adjoining Pre-Function space is perfect for cocktail hour and other transitional events. Brides are invited to prepare for the day in a dedicated beauty room, and a VIP Room and Guest Lounge can be reserved for the groomsmen or additional family. The wedding experience is complemented by the expertise of the hotel’s planner, who can guide couples through selecting the menu, décor and other details.

Grand Ballroom

The magnificent Ritz-Carlton Ballroom combines the classic splendour with modern style, offering 982 sq. meters of unique space for toast to your wedding. Its elegant décor sets an exceptionally beautiful scene for romance. The utterly luxurious venue can be divided into four individual rooms for intimate wedding ceremonies, banquettes and receptions of up to 100 guests, and is surrounded by a pre-function area for pre- and post- events.

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
