After completing demanding coursework, each Marriott Certified Wedding Planner is qualified to coordinate weddings of all types, including ethnic and military weddings. Upon ascending The Grand Staircase, guests are welcomed into the natural lit Terrace Foyer, complete with floor to ceiling windows, ideal for a cocktail reception outside of The Grand Ballroom. Its subtle blue and grey color scheme and crystal chandeliers make this space the ultimate customizable venue. The Grand Ballroom is divisible into three separate Salons, and can accommodate approximately 600 guests.

Inviting tones of soft ivory and blue extend a warm welcome to all entering The Plaza Ballroom. Appointed with decorative columns and unique crystal chandeliers, this space makes even the grandest of events seem welcoming and intimate. The Plaza Ballroom is divisible into four distinct rooms of various sizes. The entire Plaza Ballroom can accommodate up to 140 guests including space for a dance floor.

Can you provide a separate room for the ceremony?

With more than 17,000 square feet of event space, we are dedicated to finding the perfect room combinations for your special day.

 

Do you have preferred vendors?

We are proud to recommend a number of vendors, including florists, photographers, cosmetologists, event designers, and others.

 

May I use outside vendors?

We are delighted to coordinate with outside vendors. Please check with your meetings and special events manager for qualifications and requirements.

 

How much is the service charge and sales tax?

A 26% taxable service charge and a 10% sales tax will be added to all food and beverage charges.

 

How much of a deposit is required to reserve space?

Deposits are based upon the number of guests and the amount of space reserved. A non-refundable deposit, based on 25% of the estimated charges, is required to confirm any banquet space. A credit card is also required to establish your account with us. An estimated balance is due 21 days prior to your event.  

 

Do you offer reduced room rates for wedding guests?

The Ritz-Carlton is pleased to offer brides and grooms the option of establishing a block of guest rooms for Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday, based on availability. One of our sales associates will be happy to assist you with this. Guest room rates do not include breakfast, taxes or overnight valet parking of $45 USD.

Do you allow for outside catering for ethnic ceremonies and receptions?

For specific ethnic, religious or other needs that we are unable to accommodate, we are pleased to work with outside caterers. Please ask your catering sales manager for more details.

 

I/My guests have special dietary needs: what are our options?

Our exceptional culinary team is devoted to working within many dietary restrictions. In addition, we are delighted to offer a selection of vegetarian, vegan and kosher dishes for yourself or your guests. Please consult with your catering sales manager for more details.

 

Can you provide the wedding cake?

We are proud to recommend our award-winning pastry department to assist you in creating a specially designed wedding cake. Our cakes are traditionally covered in fondant icing and decorated with royal icing, and designs can be selected from our past creations or one of your favorites. The cost of your wedding cake is included in your dinner price, but additional costs may apply due to the intricacy of the designs and fillings you select.

E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
