The weather on Grand Cayman is generally sunny all year round with the temperature ranging from 75ºF - 85ºF during the day to 70ºF - 80ºF at night.
Clothing
• Cotton or lightweight clothing is suitable for daywear
• Resort casual attire is recommended when dining in restaurants
Visas
The United States Government requires all travelers to the U.S. traveling from the Cayman Islands by air to have a valid passport or other accepted official form of identification when entering/re-entering the U.S. A Visa is not required for American visitors. The Cayman Islands government does require Visas for certain nationalities. Please visit www.gov.ky/immigration for a complete listing.
NOTICE TO GUESTS: The U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security announced June 8, 2007 that U.S. citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda who have applied for but not yet received passports can nevertheless temporarily enter and depart from the United States by air with a government issued photo identification and Department of State official proof of application for a passport through September 30, 2007.

Tipping
Tipping is not expected in the resort as a service charge is included. Off property, some restaurants include a service charge as part of your bill, so you will need to check.
Airports
Grand Cayman is served by Owen Roberts International Airport. There is also a private air terminal at ORIA.
Taxis
Taxis on the Cayman Islands are safe, clean and reasonably priced. The fares from the airport to The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman range from US $20 - $25.
Rental Cars
We have an Avis Car Rental conveniently located on the 5th floor of the resort.
Parking
The resort offers valet parking for $15 per day. Self parking is also available.
