Salon D’Art Exhibition

Friday and Saturday: 4:30 p.m. till 10 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Salon D’ Art will be showcasing wide array of art of the last five centuries throughout the lobby. From the works of such masters as Renoir, Matisse, and Picasso to captivating works of calligraphy by Mohamed Zakariya, its collection spans the globe and history and focuses only on artwork made on paper: etching, woodcut, engraving, photography, lithography and more. Art advisors will be on hand through the exhibition, providing informal lessons in art history as you browse the collection. Art displayed in the exhibition is available for purchase through silent auction; see an advisor for details and guests do not have to be present for full auction.

In the Kitchen with Chef Tanaka, a series of monthly, demonstration–style cooking event in Navio highlighting seasonal fare sourced from the renowned farms surrounding the coastal resort. The afternoon includes a three-course lunch with wine paired by Petra Polakovicova, the resort’s sommelier. In the peak of winter season this event showcases the perfect technique to braise short ribs, confit duck legs and highlight the remarkable variety of heirloom beans that are found locally from Half Moon Bay’s Giusti Farms.
