Family Harvest with Coastside Hope

Food is the most basic form of comfort, yet too many families do not know where they will get their next meal. In response to the growing number of families facing this reality, Coastside Hope provides necessary aid. Guests will join the Ladies and Gentlemen from The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay for a half-day program, volunteering their time to assist the local community. This experience will begin with learning about the growing issue of hunger, as well as understanding Coastside Hope’s mission and services. Next they will work in the warehouse to unload pallets of food from trucks and then sort and bag essential food for distribution. Guests will see, first-hand, the aid they and Coastside Hope provide to our neighbors on the coast. Participants must be 13 years of age or older.

Sixth Annual Gingerbread House Competition and Silent Auction

From candy-covered castles to edible cathedrals, The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay’s annual Gingerbread House contest accepts creative entries by children, home cooks and culinary professionals. Contest winners are announced during the Holiday Tree Lighting celebration. Many houses are up for auction, with proceeds benefiting Coastside Children’s programs.

Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

The Resort’s annual holiday open house attracts families and friends from near and far for visits to enjoy Holiday carolers and take in the 25 foot Christmas tree in our beautiful Tea Garden.
