Tipping guidelines:
For hotel staff, recommended amounts are $1 - $3 per bag for a bellman, $1 - $2 per night for housekeeping, $5 - $10 for special concierge services, $1 - $3 for a doorman who hails a cab or parks a car, 15% of the greens fee for a caddie and 15% of a room service bill.

Family Activities
Sailboats, paddle boats, kayaks, windsurfing and tennis are all offered at the resort. Bike rentals are also available from the resort and are a great way to explore the scenic island. Other nearby family activities include snorkeling, golf, deep sea fishing, jet skis, the Miami Seaquarium, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, Cape Florida Lighthouse, as well as the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas Nature Center and EcoAdventures, which both offer environmental awareness activities, exhibits and programs.
Romance
The resort offers a Sensory Odyssey package complete with a five-course aphrodisiac dinner in a candlelit oceanfront gazebo with a private butler and musician. Guests also can do picnic lunches or dinners on the hotel’s Grand Lawn or go to nearby Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.
