What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our Spa Reservation Department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Desk Agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.

When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 25 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounges, saunas, steam rooms and whirlpool.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the spa facility.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the men's and women's lounges.
What about my comfort?
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in The Spa.
Are Gift Certificates available from The Spa?
Absolutely. You may purchase Spa Gift Certificates for a specific dollar amount or for particular services. The Spa Gift Certificates can be used towards services or towards purchases in our Spa Boutique.
What are the hours of operation?
Spa: Open seven days a week from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Fitness Center: Open seven days a week from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Salon: Open seven days a week Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sunday from10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Guests of The Spa and Fitness Center must be at least 18 years of age. Minors aged 14 - 17 may receive facial or massage services under the following conditions: a parent or guardian must be in the treatment room, the child needs to be wearing a bathing suit, and the therapist needs to be the same gender as the child. Salon services are available for guests of all ages. A variety of children's activities are available through the resort's Ritz Kids program while overnight guests in The Spa are enjoying their services.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us six (6) hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require a 24-hour notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.
What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge Spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.
What about gratuities?
With your permission, a 20% service charge will be added for each spa service you receive. If services were satisfactory, please feel free to leave additional gratuity which will be distributed to the Spa staff who served you during your visit.
