The Members Beach Club
Registered resort guests have use of the exclusive Members Beach Club located just 3 miles from the hotel on the beautiful white sand beaches of Lido Key offering guests a private Gulf of Mexico beach, Gulf-front heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, Ritz Kids® recreational programs with children’s pool, and elegant ladies’ and gentlemen’s changing facilities.
The pools and beach are open daily from 9 a.m. to sundown. Poolside dining and beach services are provided, hours vary seasonally. Complimentary shuttle transportation is provided to and from The Members Beach Club for guests of the resort.

Situated poolside or beachfront at The Members Beach Club, our 10x10 Day Pavilions offer a private retreat assuring seclusion and tranquility with comfort and convenience. In Search of the “Green Flash”
There’s no better place in Sarasota than The Ritz-Carlton Members Beach Club to watch the sun set. Of course you can enjoy a spectacular sunset every day, but on Wednesday through Saturday, you can join a fire-side, Gulf-front gathering to celebrate nature’s most spectacular show and search for the elusive “Green Flash.”
Sarasota has long been known for its rich cultural and artistic history. One of Sarasota’s original masterpieces can be seen right here on Lido Beach as the setting sun paints a colorful canvas in vibrant hues that range from brilliant shades of orange, warm golden tones, softer palettes of pinks and purples, and possibly even a flash of green. Be sure to arrive at the beach at least one half hour early to appreciate the full effect of the attraction.

With its choice of indoor or outdoor terrace dining, The Beach Club Grill is a masterpiece of island-elegant design, Gulf Coast cuisine and fabulous gulffront views. Additionally, the Sunset Terrace can be reserved for resort group functions and catered events.

Experience relaxed al fresco dining poolside and Gulf-front. Relax by the water and enjoy a variety of light lunch items, refreshments, beverages and cocktails with a tropical flair. Available daily from 10 a.m. to sunset.
Beach Club Experiences
Lido Key Tiki Bar
The Lido Key Tiki Bar is located directly on the beach behind The Ritz-Carlton Members Beach Club. A Sarasota landmark, the rustic, open-air tropical beach bar features beer, wine and mixed drinks at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Hours vary seasonally.
Turtle Walks
(May 15 - September 15) You are invited to accompany a Mote Marine Laboratory-trained Ritz-Carlton employee on a sunrise Beach Patrol, in search of tracks indicating that a nesting Loggerhead sea turtle came ashore the previous night. The complimentary walks are available Saturday mornings during "Turtle season." Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent at all times. The hotel provides a shuttle for participating guests departing from the hotel at 6:45 a.m. No reservations are required.
