Spa Policies
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must cancel or reschedule your Spa appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment time to avoid being charged the full value of your service. Spa packages must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
What about payment for spa services?
We accept all major credit cards, or Spa services can be charged to your hotel bill or member account. Payment is accepted prior to treatments, at your request. Please present discounts, gift vouchers and gift certificates at the time services are rendered. Discounts do not apply to Spa packages, promotions, special events or holidays.
What if I am late for my appointment?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment to allow time to relax and experience our steam, sauna and whirlpool in our inside The Healing Waters area. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so the next guest is not delayed, and the full value of your service will be charged.
Are gift certificates available from The Spa?
Absolutely. Ritz-Carlton Gift Cards are available for purchase at The Spa or here.
Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
Spa reservations agents will be delighted to assist in planning your Spa experience, including the best sequence and combination of treatments. When making reservations, please let us know if you have high blood pressure, allergies, physical disabilities, are pregnant or have any other health concerns.
Is there a minimum age for Spa treatments?
Guests of The Ritz-Carlton Spa must be at least 18 years of age to enjoy Spa treatments, Spa facilities and amenities. Salon services are available to guests of all ages. Salon guests under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Can young guests use the fitness center?
The fitness center is complimentary to all hotel guests and Ritz-Carlton Club members ages 18 years and older and guests ages 13-17 when accompanied by a parent or guardian with a signed Minors Authorization Form. Guests under the age of 13 are not eligible for fitness center access.
Can I use the Spa if I am not a hotel guest?
The Ritz-Carlton Spa welcomes non-Members and non-resort guests. Use of Spa facilities are complimentary to Spa guests receiving spa treatments of 50 minutes or longer.
Prior to Arrival
When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment to allow time to relax and experience our steam, sauna and whirlpool in our Relaxation Sanctuary.
What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, please wear whatever is most comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped except for the area being worked on. Robes and slippers are provided.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are a guest of the resort, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guest room. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for gentlemen prior to a facial. If you choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours before your appointment time. Shaving is not recommended prior to body treatments or hair removal services.
Health Questions
What if I have special health considerations?
Prior to booking your treatments, please notify our Spa Concierge if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. Please let us know if you have any concerns. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Concierge if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
