VolunTeaming



VolunTeaming is now offered under The Ritz-Carlton social responsibility program, Community Footprints. Transcending traditional group activities, VolunTeaming combines teambuilding with volunteer activities that create lasting memories for the participants. Recognizing that many groups want their teambuilding time to make a meaningful contribution, these programs enable guests to be a force for good and feel personally connected to the place that they visit.

  Rescuing Exotic Animals in Need

Rescuing Exotic Animals in Need

The group travels together to Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary in Sarasota, Florida where their day begins with a tour of the compound. Participants observe lions, bears, tigers, tortoises and other rescued animals in their enclosures. Program founder Kay Rosaire explains the history of the organization and its mission to save the animals often found in the direst of circumstances. 

After the tour, groups roll up their sleeves and assist with food preparation, landscaping or structural improvements to the enclosures. The day continues with an interactive lunch with Big Cat staff, during which participants are regaled with stories of the Rosaire family’s thrilling tours of foreign lands and their unique and respectful way of and training and performing with wild animals.


Teambuilding

The Ritz-Carlton Group Activities Team is committed to providing creative event services designed to enhance your group experience. It is with this approach that we provide a selection of teambuilding events for your pleasure and excitement. Each one of our activities is facilitated by members of our Group Activities Team who will ensure that every participant enjoys the unique experience to its fullest.

Recreation
So much of our day is invested in business... but we all have needs beyond productivity. Recreation is an essential part of our completeness. Playing together fosters belonging while it refreshes the spirit. Hearing our combined voices raised in laughter brings us closer as we celebrate all that we have accomplished together.

Companion Activities
We provide a variety of options for spouses or companions including shopping, sightseeing, historic tours, museums and nature tours. Activities can also be custom designed for spouses. 

VolunTeaming
Many socially conscious companies are planning their teambuilding with altruism in mind. Transcending traditional activities, volunteer projects permanently impact the community while fostering corporate unity and pride.
