La Locanda transports the authentic flavors of traditional Italian dining to Kyoto, infusing them with locally sourced Japanese produce and a uniquely modern sensibility. Atmospheric and enchanting, the restaurant offers several spaces for private events, including the wood-paneled Ebisugawa-tei dining room. Complete your meal with a cake, macaron or other tempting dessert, prepared by master patissiers in La Vetrina Della Boutique.

Ebisugawa-tei 
This wood-panelled dining room was once the townhouse of Denzaburo Fujita, founder of the Fujita industrial group. Constructed in 1908, this elegant room has been painstakingly restored and repurposed as a unique dining space, where private groups can enjoy Italian cuisine in a traditional Japanese setting.

Our walk-in cellar stores and displays carefully selected charcuterie and cheeses from around the world.

La Vetrina Della Boutique 
In this open kitchen, cakes, macarons and other tempting desserts are prepared in full view of La Locanda diners by Pierre Hermé Paris patissiers.

Have a unique and memorable dining experience while wearing kimono. After dressing in kimono, and getting your hair done at the hotel, you can enjoy lunch in our Ebisugawa-tei dining room at La Locanda. After lunch, take a stroll in town and come back to the hotel by 5p.m.
