GEORGE TOWN, GRAND CAYMAN – April 25, 2019 – The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is excited to announce the twelfth annual Cayman Cookout on January 15-19, 2020. Solidifying its esteemed reputation as the culinary epicenter of the Caribbean, the resort invites food and wine lovers to join together on the luxurious Seven Mile Beach to participate in this celebration of gastronomy. Co-created and hosted by Michelin Star chef, seafoodmaster and co-owner of Le Bernardin in New York City and Blue by Eric Ripert at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Eric Ripert is joined by a talented and impressive line-up of globally recognized culinary stars including José Andrés, Emeril Lagasse, Daniel Boulud, Andrew Zimmern, Normand Laprise, Pano Karatassos, Dominique Crenn, Stephanie Izard, Laeticia Rouabah, Clare Smyth and Niki Nakayama.
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman brings together talented chefs, wine and spirit experts, and culinary tastemakers for Cayman Cookout, one of the most globally prestigious celebrations of food and wine. Over the holiday weekend, guests will enjoy dynamic cooking demonstrations, exclusive tastings and dining events, exciting local tours and unique epicurean experiences -- all presented with the barefoot elegance of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. Cayman Cookout 2020 presents intimate events and celebrations throughout the weekend, which encourage unprecedented access to the world’s most famous and beloved chefs as well as the opportunity to taste a variety of unforgettable dishes, all complemented by the beachy feel and warm weather that is Grand Cayman.
Reservations for Cayman Cookout 2020 are now available to book through the “Cayman Cookout” package, starting at $1,536 per night and available from January 15-20, 2019 for a four-night minimum stay. The package includes accommodations for two with multiple room categories offered, daily breakfast buffet at Seven restaurant for two, a reduced resort fee of $30 per day and tickets for two to some of the weekend’ signature events. Included in the package are tickets to the Wine Fair and Auction on Thursday, January 16, Barfoot BBQ on Friday, January 17, After-Dinner Party on Saturday, January 18 and Rum & Robusto on Sunday, January 19.
