Secluded from the distractions of daily life, a weekend retreat at Mandapa will help you to discover the peace of mind, body and soul that will reconnect, reenergize and reignite ideas. Mandapa experience is a sensory journey to wellness and nature, where lush jungle meets majestic Ayung River, rice terrace and temple. Further, suggested team building activities are listed in the table below.

  • Meeting room rental fee is included if the guest stays. If the guest does not stay, meeting room rental is IDR 3,500,000++ per event
  • Set up using Mandapa existing meeting room chairs and tables
  • Freshly brewed coffee or tea service free flow throughout the meeting
  • 1 x three course set menu lunch at Sawah Terrace including pouring mineral water

Goa Gajah

Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), built in the 9th century as a sanctuary - At the façade of the cave is a relief of various menacing creatures and demons carved right into the rock at the cave entrance. The primary figure was once thought to be an elephant, hence the nickname Elephant Cave.

Penglipuran Village is a traditional ‘old Bali village’ located 700m above sea level with its own unique characteristic life, social and culture. It is located in Kubu Village , Bangli. Kings and royals alike, used to frequent this village as a way to refresh and entertainment.

Pura Besakih

Pura Besakih (Mother Temple of Besakih) in the village of Besakih on the slopes of Mount Agung in eastern Bali, Indonesia, is the most important, the largest and holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali. Perched nearly 1000 meters up the side of Gunung Agung, it is an extensive complex of 23 separate but related temples with the largest and most important being Pura Penataran Agung.

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. A five foot round table seats eight people comfortably. A six foot round table seats 10 people comfortably.
Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
