Bali Through The Lens - 7 hours

This full-day tour is designed for those who want to see some of the most photogenic places in Bali. Whether sunrise or sunset, your personal guide will get you to the right place at the right time so you can capture your own amazing photographs. With spectacular landscapes, people, architecture, exotic wildlife, flora and fauna, there is no doubt that Bali is a paradise for photography. The tour includes a breakfast or lunch box.

Enjoy an unwinding journey in a classic VW 181 convertible as we drive along the incredibly beautiful countryside, passing the rice field of Ceking village, visiting Sebatu water temple and the historical Gunung Kawi. A lunch picnic pit-stop along the way completes the ultimate vintage experience. Highly recommended and it has been the most favorite experience in Mandapa. Full day tour is available upon request.

 

Volkswagen Vintage Tour: Hidden Jewel - 6 hours

Discover the hidden jewel of Bali with our classic VW 181. The trip starts from Penglipuran Village, a beautiful highland village in the regency of Bangli in East Bali, best known for its well-preserved culture and village layout. The trip continues to visit the most ancient temple in Bangli, Pura Kehen. It was built in the 11th century, known as the miniature of Besakih Temple, the Mother Temple in Bali. Kehen means household or a fire place which symbolizes Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe according to ancient Hindu philosophy. The last stop will explore the unspoiled Tukad Cepung Waterfall. The waterfall does not flow into a river, stream or jungle, but it flows gently down the canyon with around 15 meter high. These locations are hand-selected for those who wish to go off the beaten path away from the crowds.

 

Enchanting Love Journey - 1 hour ritual (followed by dinner)

Designed for couples, this unique experience begins at the resort temple with a purification ceremony that aims to cleanse the body, mind and soul. A dedicated photographer will capture the procession to create lasting memories that you can treasure. To complete the love journey experience, enjoy a romantic dinner at the resort’s cliff overlooking the Ayung River.

 

Royal Picnic Expedition - 7 hours (subject to weather conditions)

Enjoy a private picnic experience in East Bali on a clifftop setting with views of Mount Agung, Lombok Strait and local villages. Start the journey with a guided tour to Besakih Temple complex, also known as the “Mother Temple” of Bali. This 1,000-year old temple is the biggest and the holiest temple on the island and is surrounded by breathtaking rice paddies, hills, mountains and streams. The tour will take around 1.5 hour before you head East to indulge in a luxury picnic experience, set on a gorgeous hill, overlooking the beautiful scenery where the mountain meets the ocean. Savor a gourmet course-by-course meal prepared by your private chef and enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne.

 

Tirta Empul Purification - 4 hours

A Balinese water purification ritual taking place at Tirta Empul- The Mother of Water temple in Bali. This magical experience will start by dressing in a traditional costume while walking into the Tirta Pools and visiting a series of fountains to purify the mind, body and soul. The ritual is completed with a prayer in the temple that allows you to experience the local tradition.

*Note that women on their monthly cycle are not allowed to enter the temple.

 

Campuhan Walk - 2 hours

Campuhan walk is a free and easy nature trek, popular among visitors to the central highland town of Ubud. While the hike lets you enjoy the cool fresh air and probably the most gorgeous hillside vista in the region, it also allows you to shed off some calories with its ten-kilometer hill track.

 

Desa Bali Walk - 1 hour

A cultural experience that will take you to Kedewatan Village to explore the “desa” by walking and experiencing the fascinating local daily routine. Through this activity your guide will explain about the philosophy and its application on Balinese way of life.

Balinese Ritual Lifestyle - 2 hours

A spiritual experience; you will learn how to wear a traditional costume and to prepare a Balinese daily offering called Canang – and place it at the resort temple. A pranayama, meditation and Balinese prayer will finish this ritual.  

 

Flower Gebogan Making - 2 hours  

Explore your creativity and discover your inner artist by making one of the most beautiful and colorful Balinese offerings called “Gebogan”. You will be guided on how to create this flower tower using indigenous locally grown fresh flowers and coconut leaves – beautifully arranged on a traditional Balinese wooden plate “Dulang”. Learn how to prepare this flower art in true Balinese way.

Sunrise at Mount Batur - 6 hours

Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise at one of Bali’s sacred volcanoes, Mount Batur. Located on 1,717 meters above sea level with a hike approximately 2- 3 hours long, Mount Batur overlooks stunning sceneries. Unwind as the vibration of the sacred earth soothes your mind and soul over a rustic morning. Breakfast will be cooked by the steam of the active volcano. This moderate-to-strenuous climb is well suited for any trekking enthusiast ready for a challenge far from the crowds.

 

Exclusive Ayung River Journey - 3 hours

Enhance your connection with mother earth while experiencing our private rafting journey. The journey begins with a countryside exploration with our classic Volkswagen 181 convertible before we take you to the rafting starting point. Explore hidden waterfall, tropical jungle and enjoy the sacred beauty of Ayung River. The rafting guide will help capture the intimate experience through their professional camera. The rafting journey will end at Mandapa’s private jetty.  

 

Kintamani Trekking - 4 hours

A moderate-level of trekking, passing the lush greeneries of Batur with a picturesque view of the lake and the vegetable farm. This invigorating trek will allow you to learn about the traditional farming system as well as understanding the history of Hindu temples. The journey will conclude by visiting the hot spring that allows you to refresh your mind and body.

 

Trunyan Village Trek - 6 hours

A trekking through the most sacred place in North of Bali, where the natives prepare the deceased and allow them to be naturally preserved by the ancient tree, Taru  Menyan, which is named after the village. Enjoy Mandapa signature picnic during the trek. 

 

Nungnung Waterfall - 4 hours

Start your day by visiting one of Bali’s tallest waterfalls with an altitude of 900 meters above sea level. Located in a small village of Nungnung, 40 kilometers north of Denpasar, the journey begins by going down to the river valley, tracing hilly rice fields and seeing the waterfall from up close.

 

Lempuyang Journey - 4 hours

A combination of physical and spiritual journeys. This activity will enrich you on how the Balinese people pray in the highest temple in East Bali, known as Lempuyang Temple, and also one of the nine most sacred temples in Bali Island. Enjoy the beautiful village scenery and the huge of Mount Agung along the way.

 

Penulisan Experiential Cycling - 5 Hours (Start time: 4:30 AM)

A combination of spiritual experiences in the highest temple in Bali, “Pura Pucak Penulisan”. Enjoy the sunrise while cycling downhill, overlooking the beautiful countryside of Northern Bali. It includes an approximately one-hour drive by car back and forth and three hours of cycling.

 

Kintamani Freewheel - 4 hours

A refreshing trip by passing through a beautiful landscape of Batur caldera and cycling down the stunning countryside. It includes an approximately of one hour-drive by car back and forth and two hours of cycling.

 

Kampung Bali Cycling - 3 hours

This activity will take guests to explore the Balinese village and to see the Balinese way of living through cycling. Enjoy the beautiful rice field view while riding down the village. It includes a fifteen-minute drive by car back and forth .

 

Ubud Tegalalang Cycling - 3 hours

If you are looking for a magnificent rice field view and keen to learn about the traditional irrigation system, this would be a perfect choice. Enjoy a breathtaking Ceking rice terrace view during the whole cycling experience. It includes a twenty-minute drive by car back and forth .

UNESCO Sites

ThJatiluwih Rice Terraces located in the Tabanan region and are among the most striking examples of terraced agriculture in the world. Arguably Bali’s oldest and most complex example of the Subak rice terrace system of agriculture. Taman Ayun Temple is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire located in Mengwi Village and functions as a temple to pray to the god in manifestation (Wisnu) at the top of Mangu mount.

A Taste of Healing Traditions- 4 Hours

Guests will start the morning off in a healthy way with morning yoga followed by discovering native Balinese plants and end with a Jamu Workshop where they will create their very own Balinese herbal drink. Originally made from Java, the drink contains ingredients such as ginger, turmeric, and lemon grass – all beneficial to maintain children’s energy levels and their immune system.

Start the day off right with an active Jungle Gym hike where you will discover unique cultural elements at our ‘Village’, to learning how to make beautiful Balinese offering called ‘canang sari’. Dive deep into an entirely new cultural tradition through Balinese traditional games, this is the perfect way for the whole family or just the children to have a fun and enriching experience.

Inspired by Balinese families, share the evening together.
