Observe skilled chefs prepare tempura and teppan in the Michelin-starred restaurant’s open kitchens, savor some of the finest sushi in Kyoto at the 11-meter counter or indulge in the quintessential Japanese experience of kaiseki.
Open for lunch and dinner, Mizuki also offers private dining.

Originating in Kyoto, kaiseki is considered to be the ultimate expression of Japanese cuisine. At Mizuki, kaiseki is based on the Japanese tradition of Go-mi, Go-syoku, Go-ho (five flavors, five colors, five cooking methods). Exquisitely prepared small dishes are presented on tableware designed by contemporary artists.

The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto invites guests to experience exquisite private dining at Teppan Mizuki. Our restaurant chefs prepare fresh, flavorful steaks and seafood in an intimate, open kitchen environment, using a traditional iron griddle. Teppan Mizuki can be reserved for private gatherings of up to eight people.
