Holy Month of Ramadan
June 18 - July 17, 2015 (Dates are subject to change)

Al Bustan Palace sets the stage for a memorable Ramadan experience to be shared with family, friends and colleagues. Join us in Al Khiran Terrace for Iftar, or our signature restaurant, Beach Pavilion, during Suhour. The lavish Iftar buffet will include live stations, with a variety of Middle Eastern and international cuisine, with further highlights including shuwarma, shuwa kebbeh and creative ‘henna’ cookies. Sohour will be served in Beach Pavilion, where a variety of shisha will also be available.
Corporate Iftar in the Palace 

Enjoy your private Iftar in one of our palatial rooms. We have several private areas throughout the hotel that may be booked in advance. Our dedicated Meetings and Special Events team are also on hand to organise any tailor-made corporate celebrations during Ramadan. Corporate Iftar reservations require a minimum of 50 guests.

Served from sunset to 10 p.m., Iftar buffet is priced at OMR 18 ++ per person including Ramadan beverages. Iftar for children 6 to 12 years is priced at OMR 9 ++ per child and there is no charge for children under six.

Sohour and Shisha in Maserati Ramadan Lounge (Beach Pavilion)

Sohour and a selection of shisha flavours will be offered from 9 p.m. till 2 a.m. Sohour includes Arabic snacks such as Mezza and it is priced at OMR 10 ++ per person and in addition, an A la carte menu will be offered. As for children 6 to 12 years is priced at OMR 5 ++ per child. Shisha will also be served and priced at OMR 8 ++.

Join us at our Eid Brunch to celebrate Eid and share the joy and pleasure of good company, great conversations and delicious food. The brunch will be offered from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and priced at OMR 22 ++ per person.

Renaissance Day is a public holiday commemorating the anniversary of the day Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said ascended the throne in 1970.

Concert: 30 years of the Royal Symphony Orchestra

Oman National Day
November 18, 2015
National Day is a national celebration turned into a festival, to commemorate the Birthday of Sultan Qaboos. Celebrations include parades, music performances, and popular activities such as camel racing, dancing and fireworks. During the festival, national flags and images of the Sultan are spread across the city in expression of recognition and pride.

Royal Opera House (Open House)

The Royal Opera House Muscat will have an open house which offers our community a window to experience the architectural and artistic beauty of the opera house within a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Doors open to the community to experience a wide variety of events with a special focus on children. In addition to exhibitions, there are often music performances, tours and various events for the entire family.

Ramadan Restaurant Opening Hours

For restaurant reservations, please call Box Office at extension 1010. Advance booking is recommended for all dining venues.

As a courtesy to the local culture, all our restaurants observe a Smart Casual dress code in the evening. Please refrain from wearing flips-flops, tank tops, athletic apparel and backpacks, as well as sleeveless tops for gentlemen and denim shorts for ladies. Long trousers and closed shoes are required for gentlemen. Walking barefoot is not allowed at any times in all restaurants.
