Nestled in the Tortolita Mountains, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain has access to over 20 miles of hiking trails. Whether you are looking for an all-day excursion, a quick expedition around the canyon, or a magical way to end your day, we offer guided hikes for all levels of experience.

Sunset Vista Hike
A spectacular sunset awaits you during this guided hike through the Sonoran Desert, and ends with a refreshing cocktail in Ignite Lounge. This 2.7 mile hike allows you to witness our beautiful Arizona sunsets as well as majestic saguaros.

Family Fun Geocaching
It's like a scavenger hunt in the desert! This GPS led activity is a fun and educational way to spend time exploring the surroundings of the resort. The GPS will guide you through the Wild Burro Canyon to predetermined locations where you locate the hidden cache box. Good luck!

Introducing our Dove Mountain Rangers!
An exciting program geared towards children ages 5 - 12 combining artistic and physical activities. Kids can spend a full or half-day participating in these themed programs learning about the Native Americans who inhabited the land around the resort, the Wild West, Rangers Night out and more.
