The hotel houses one of the largest contemporary art collections in Southeast Asia, including works by David Hockney, Andy Warhol, Dale Chihuly, Frank Stella and Zhu Wei. 90% of the 4,200 art pieces were specially commissioned for the hotel, while approximately 350 of them are museum-quality art pieces.
Augmented Reality Hotel Art Tour
Introducing the world’s only augmented reality hotel art tour here at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, where you will be able to interact virtually with art pieces by renowned artists such as Frank Stella and Zhu Wei. Watch butterflies fly out of the overhanging “Cornucopia” in the hotel lobby, or spot the white beluga whale in front of “Moby Dick” in the Stella Gallery.
Feng Shui Design Principles
Embracing the philosophy of Feng Shui, our luxury hotel welcomes guests with an auspicious balance of energy. Over 10,000 square meters of chromafusion glass with a mother-of-pearl filter are used in the internal glass paneling, coupled with light wood to create a light and spacious environment to enliven the senses. Other Feng Shui elements are detailed through auspicious gold ‘metal’ rail trimmings suspended in Colony, ‘wind’ coming in through the large main doors symbolize luck, ‘water’ from the mother-of-pearl panes and indoor water feature signify wealth, and the impressive Cornucopia art sculpture in the main lobby represents ‘fire’ and vitality. The iconic octagonal bathroom windows in each guest room afford panoramic views while alluding to the auspicious number “8”.
Republic's cocktail menu is devoted to the decade of the 1960s, and it boasts a curated collection of vintage spirits. Imbibe on liquid history at our bar in Singapore, Marina Bay. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are also available.
This all-day Singapore hotel restaurant reflects the journey and aesthetic of British colonial times with a showcase of local and Asian cuisines from seven kitchens. Sunday brunch features vintage champagnes.
Guests indulge in exquisite Cantonese cuisine at this Michelin-starred restaurant and savor perfectly paired wines with every meal. Private dining rooms are also available for special events in our Marina Bay, Singapore restaurant.
