Two Michelin stars testify to Chef Sergi Arola’s consistently creative cuisine. This notable chef began his formal culinary education at the Escuela de Hostelería y Restauración de Barcelona. In 1997, Sergi set up a restaurant in Madrid called La Broche where he began to gain recognition for his work with numerous awards and prizes including a first Michelin Star in 1999 and a second one in 2000. The Gourmet Tour guide awarded him Best Chef of the Year in 2002 and he received the Amer Prize for Best Chef in Madrid and the National Gastronomy Prize in 2003.
Sergi has now opened his own restaurant in Madrid, Sergi Arola Gastro, recognised with two Michelin Stars awarded simultaneously in recognition of his outstanding work in his new venture.
Sergi continues to surprise and delight guests with his personal, signature cuisine and the stylish informality of Arola at the Hotel Arts.
