Tosca Welcomes Guest Chef Anthony Genovese

Michelin-starred Chef Pino Lavarra proudly welcomes guest chef Anthony Genovese to Tosca, for a limited time only from April 19 to 21, 2018.

Born in France to Calabrian parents, Anthony’s culinary career has taken him to many different continents. As a young chef, he spent time in Japan and Malaysia before taking up the role of Head Chef at Rossellinis restaurant on the Amalfi Coast, Italy, where he was awarded his first Michelin star.

In 2003, Anthony opened Il Pagliaccio, Rome, where he brings brought Italian fine dining into a new era with subtle Asian influences. As a result, in just 3 years he received his second Michelin star. Inspired by Anthony’s travels around Asia, but still grounded in his southern Italian heritage, the menu is a celebration of the finest produce and ingredients. Chef Anthony takes inspirations from his southern Italian heritage whilst embracing his experiences in developing his own unique contemporary Italian cuisine. The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong is grateful for this opportunity to bring the delights of Chef Anthony to the Pearl of the Orient.

La Dolce Vita Wine Lunch  

La Dolce Vita – ‘The Sweet Life’ - a phrase popularized by the iconic 1960 Federico Fellini film of the same name denotes a free and easy lifestyle of luxury and pleasure. Michelin-starred chef Pino Lavarra will bring this philosophy to the tables of Tosca with an innovative menu of delectable Italian cuisine paired with fine wines from Lombardy, a region that stretches from the Alps to the Po Valley.

The team at Tosca will escort you on a gastronomic tour of an exquisitely designed menu beginning with a sumptuous welcome at the Almas Caviar Bar for an amuse-bouche and wine tasting before being escorted to the main dining room where guests can continue their interactive menu through live stations serving mouth-watering Lombardian specialties as well as table-side service of selected dishes introduced by the chef. To complete this Dolce Vita experience, guests can enjoy a sweet surrender at the dessert station with a cooking demonstration of some tasty sweet Italian dishes.

Join Chef Pino to celebrate his Michelin star. With limited-seats, Pino's First Table is a unique menu presented each night (available from Monday to Thursday, except public holidays), window seats guaranteed.

Reservations must be made at least one day in advance.

Chef Pino's First Table is served only once each evening at 6:30 p.m.

Terms and Conditions
