Position: Executive Sous Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

Why he became a chef: “I’ve always enjoyed the process of creating — taking raw ingredients and turning them into something delicious. I found it intriguing how food could bring people together and wanted to be a part of people’s happiness. Now, at The Ritz-Carlton, I enjoy planning and setting up creative food presentations for unique experiences.”

Why he calls Laguna Niguel home: “I've been at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel for 20 years. It’s special. I was on The Ritz-Carlton task force and stayed at our properties in St. Thomas and Naples, Florida for months at a time. They are very beautiful to visit, but I don’t know if I could live there. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than Laguna.”
