Parking
There is parking lot and valet service in the hotel. The service is complimentary.
Out side of the hotel, most of the places offer parking lot and the cost is about 3 USD for 4 hours.
Autobuses
Best to pay bus drivers in Pesos. Exact change is not necessary as the drivers make change.
Electricity
The standard is 110 volts. Hotels usually offer voltage converters for 220 volt devices. Some sockets do not accept polarized or three-prong plugs.

Languages
The official language is Spanish. In the tourism industry, English, French, Italian and German are also spoken. Part of the local indigenous population still speaks Mayan.
Local Currency
- The official coin is the Mexican Peso, but American Dollars are accepted in most places. The exchange rate with respect to the American Dollar fluctuates daily.
- Currency exchange service is available at the hotel’s front desk 24 hours.
- The majority of Money Exchanges open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There are Money Exchanges in various areas of the Hotel Zone open after these hours.

The work/business hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Banks in Cancun open Monday to Friday, usually from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some branches open on Saturdays.

Departure
We suggest arriving at the airport at least two hours and a half before your international flight. For national flights the airlines suggest to be at the airport two hours ahead.
Passport
As of January 23, 2007, the United States Government requires all travelers to the U.S. traveling by air to have a valid passport when entering/re-entering the U.S. from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.
