To capture the essence of a good time, Tea with a Twist includes a choice of selections of unique teas or an original tea infused “mar-tea-ni”. Standard finger sandwiches are replaced with tapas-style hors d’oeuvres, while guests will still be able to enjoy the sweet side of tea time with exquisite tarts, cakes, and pastries.

Nicole Pesce will also be warming up the room with contemporary acoustics while the voice of Jeffrey Hattrick takes center stage. Considered the wettest desert in the world, the beautiful Sonoran Desert supports a breathtaking array of plants and wildlife. This environment is also ideal for invasive and noxious plants to thrive, choking out the native vegetation and causing a volatile fire hazard when dry. The Volunteers for Outdoor Arizona (VOAz) is focused on inspiring volunteerism to preserve, protect and enhance native habitat. When you participate in this cause, certified project leaders will train, educate and outfit you for a half-day of rewarding work, varying from rebuilding a crumbling hiking trail or redirecting water run-offs and rills to ridding the desert of non-native plant life.
