A jet-setting couple chooses the lush greenery of Bali as the backdrop for their big day.
Witnessed by their loved ones who flew in overseas to be with them on their special day, Iryna and Sergio, tied the knot earlier this November. The couple loves to travel and be immersed in each of the destination they explore together. They have always been a big fan of exotic destinations and therefore what better way to celebrate their milestone than in Ubud, Bali’s cultural heart where Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is located.

We fell in love with the lush greenery, the artistic ambiance and the people of one of the world’s most mesmerizing towns, Ubud. Without a doubt we felt a very special connection which drew us back to celebrate our wedding here.

While waiting for the bride, Sergio showed off some music skills by playing the traditional Balinese instrument called “rindik.”
The environments of Ubud had captivated us. How would we be able to capture all the magic of Ubud and its people into an intimate and private atmosphere? And then Mandapa happened...The intense beauty of the landscape surrounding Mandapa and gracious hospitality of its people; the feeling of time stopping, nothing else existing anywhere but that moment; the unexpected sensation of inner peace even when moments before everything seemed chaotic.

Above: The dinner reception had to be moved from the pool deck to The Library, an indoor site, due to the rain showers. But Iryna and Sergio did not expect that it turned out to be the best plan B – they ended up with a gorgeous celebration, with rustic and homey décor.
That day became the most romantic, memorable and magical day of our lives. From flowers to music to cake - everything was perfect and our guests that flew in from all over the world are still mesmerized by a once in a lifetime experience.
