"Vejigantes"

The pulsating beat can be heard from your function room as the heady aromas of island spices entice you to abandon the rigors of every day and join the frenzy. Dance to the hypnotic rhythm of the Samba and Salsa. Savor the variety of tastes as you wander with the glittering procession through the traditional food huts and bars, where you will choose from a multitude of tasty morsels.

 

"Fiestas Patronales"
A “welcome” archway greets arriving guests. Upon entering the plaza, they find themselves transported into their very own pueblo during it's most important and exciting "Fiestas Patronales." The center plaza has a large working fountain with four corner sculptures, illuminated "faroles" (lampposts), plants, trees, and benches. They are surrounded by familiar buildings such as: the Town Church, The City Hall "Alcaldia," complete with clock, the Colmado Del Patio Bar and the Plaza del Mercado (large food area).
Rainforest Experience
Take in the natural landscape of El Yunque and its awesome views of majestic trees and dwarf forest vegetation with orchids, tree ferns, air plants and exotic parrots. La Coca Falls is illustrated as part of the natural habitat of the rainforest. Majestic skies will enhance the natural landscape, illuminating the details of these murals. Flowering plants, trees, butterflies and natural bamboo will add to the jungle ambience. Special effects lighting and sound complete this dynamic event.
Beach Island Fever
Seascapes, brisk breezes and sand castles highlighted by crashing waves in the background…free spirited feelings of childlike wonder… sand between your toes and sunshine on your skin. Leave your cares behind and journey to a beach setting that has been touched by the hand of a mystical sea-genie, leaving everything in its wake in "larger-than-life" proportions. Oversized beach props offer wonderful photo opportunities for all that attend. This night, every participant will recapture the playful moments of their youth and delightful recollections of a seaside holiday.

VolunTeaming


VolunTeaming is now offered under The Ritz-Carlton social responsibility program, Community Footprints. Transcending traditional group activities, VolunTeaming combines teambuilding with volunteer activities that create lasting memories for the participants. Recognizing that many groups want their teambuilding time to make a meaningful contribution, these programs enable guests to be a force for good and feel personally connected to the place that they visit.

Care Packages for Cancer Patients
With a mission to provide cancer prevention, diagnostic and treatment services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, the Oncology Hospital Dr. Isaac González Martínez, is a critical lifeline to those in need. Your group guests will help assemble bags containing essential supplies, such as blankets and toiletries, for new patients arriving at the hospital. This enriching activity allows participants to work together to make a socially responsible contribution to the patients and community at large.
